As A Rival are a 4-piece Hard Rock/Punk band hailing from Melbourne Australia with a really tight catchy sound. This is a band who have already built up a reputation and fan base here in Australia. And with this their second album Griefers Released on the 2nd of November have really stamped their mark on the Australian Rock/Punk Scene. The album was produced by Tom Larkin (Shihad) Sam Sproull and Jon Grace.The album sessions started with a challenge to do 50 demos in two months and they smashed it with 50+ demos and this amazing 12 track punk rock album that is Griefers.
I really enjoyed the hell out of this album with it’s catchy lyrics and accessible sound, that had me and everyone else in my house rocking out.But my favourite track off this album would have to be Bring Out The Dead an amazing track and one I feel really captures the vibe and feel of this album.
